Day Eighteen, Sat, 9/21/24, Bozeman, MT to Sheridan, WY; 280 miles, 7 hours

Leaving Bozeman, MT on I90 East toward Wyoming we stopped at Crow Agency, MT Custer's Last Stand Trading Post.  This trading post had the very best selection of Native American books on sale so far.  There will be one more stop with an even bigger collection, but so far, on this trip, this is the one!  I was able to purchase several more volumes of herbal and native remedies.  In addition, here is where Mary found the t-shirt for which she had been looking for her son, Noah Bonczkowski.  Whew!

The Ramada Inn in Sheridan, WY was very nice on the inside and had all of the amenities advertised.  However, there was a very large group of families also staying there, plus another tour bus group staying there.  The mothers of the children allowed their children to run all over the reception area during breakfast the next morning.  It was pretty disruptive.

The breakfast buffet was complete and hot food.  Plenty of room.  Lots of tables.  This was a pretty typical Ramada Inn, like ones I've stayed at before.


Day Twenty-Three, Thu, 9/26/24, Kearney, NE to Newton, KS; 287 miles, 7 hours
